I met Helen when she opened the mill up as a mini art exhibition she invited me in and we sat and chatted about our passion for art and the history of the mill. She was so knowledgeable about both. She came and supported my 1st art exhibition not long after bravely wearing her mask risking her health but she so wanted to support me. She introduced me to her photographer Chris Farrow who did her beautiful limited edition prints and we shared car journeys to life drawing classes in caverswall which she also introduced me to. We always had lots to share on those journeys. Helen was very proud of you George and so passionate about the mill. I personally gained so much from the short time we spent together.
