The pictures taken in blackpool bought back a few memories . We walked miles that day.
Nell spent quite a long time creating what can only be described as a sand sculpture, it took her ages and as it was x rated ( male parts) i would imagine it was scrubbed out as soon as we left by someone who had taken offence as it was very realistic !  I have a picture of it somewhere ! 
Nell obviously battled with her illness with the courage and dignity you would expect , the last time i saw her it was plain to see that she was exhausted by it all but she would just say she was fine and never complained .

I will remember her for her creative side , she could paint, cook,  sew loved her garden and would  turn her hand to anything . 
She had great humour and was very straight talking.
